It is with sadness that I let you know there will be no group tomorrow due to the confinement regulations.
I have been preparing behind the scenes as I had thought this might happen. To begin with I want you to know that you are not alone, you have a wonderful array of resources and by coming to our weekly meditation group (or following along online), you have been preparing for stressful times like this. So now it will be just a case of keeping up the training you have already been doing.
If you’ve never been to a class, now is as good as any to start....
Fridays 10-11am - meditation group online
This atelier will be running using the same format as our group throughout November, but obviously online. I do appreciate this is not the same as being face-to-face and together in the same room, but this will allow us to meet up as a community and continue to build-up those neural pathways to help us manage these stressful times.
I’ve registered and paid for a business account with Zoom and I am happy to support you gaining access to the group this way if you need it. It will not cost you anything to download the application, and you can use an internet browser if you prefer.
I will let you know in advance what the sessions will be so you can prepare your space, this is a wonderful opportunity to set up your home practice, I can also advise you on getting the best out of your set-up. They will begin next Friday 6th, and continue on the 13th, 20th and 27th November – this will be 25€ for the month. I will send you the link on Thursday evening before and look forward to seeing you there.
This is an opportunity to build on the practices we have worked on this year in the group, check in with yourselves and connect to the present moment and simply be with whatever it is we find.
Monday Morning Mindful Mingle - 9th,16th, 23rd and 30th November, from 10-11am
I had already been planning to start a small group on a Monday morning in Gabian. So, I have decided to still go ahead with my ideas online and create another space, this time for therapeutic sharing for anybody who is interested. There will be space for everybody to talk and to be listened to, drawing on Compassion Focused Therapy techniques – this is an invitation to sit and have a virtual coffee morning together in a therapeutically held space. This will be an open ‘drop-in’ group so you may attend as often or as little as you like.
I will email the link to the space on Monday morning. Pay what you can afford, but a suggested donation would be 5€.
Complimentary Outreach Call
I’d like to offer everyone a 15-minute complimentary check-in time throughout November, to see how you are and offer a listening ear via Zoom/Skype/WhatsApp/FaceTime/landline call. These are the days and times I’m available so please do make use of this.
Mondays 1pm and 2pm
Thursdays 10am, 11am and 2pm

I can offer a six-week individual mindfulness-based training package if this feels like the right time for you to dig deeper into practices, and this will give particular emphasis to home practice.
As an ergothérapeute libérale I have the right to make home visits. If this is something you, or somebody else you know needs please do reach out. Crisis outreach is possible locally.
If you’d like something more in-depth to support you throughout the confinement I can also offer Compassion Focused Therapy based interventions as well as practical stress management and general wellbeing sessions. These can be from 30mins to one hour, one-offs, daily, weekly or monthly. My in-person fee is usually 60€ for a one-hour session which I can reduce to 20€ for those in need. These are trying times and I don’t want people to feel they cannot access the sessions for financial reasons so please reach out if you feel you need additional support and we can come to an arrangement based on what you can afford.
