Calendar 2011

Again, it is time to start preparing the new SEE Heritage Calendar. It will keep the same style; however, we decided to start with thematic photographs. For 2012 we planned to promote the theme CULTURAL LANDSCAPE. We will appreciate if you send us your photos for the Calendar. We set some criteria for the photos:

  • Horizontal shape
  • Size of minimum 300 dpi (15x10 cm)
  • Attractive, effective, good composition
  • Reflecting some cultural landscape from the SEE region (please, note the location and the  name of the pictured site)
  • Name of the author should also be noted

Best in Heritage
The SEE Heritage Network took part in the Best in Heritage Conference in Dubrovnik, Croatia, on 22-24 September 2011. Irina Subotic from Europa Nostra Serbia (member organization of the SEE Heritage Network) took important role of moderating one of the Conference sessions, and Visnja Kisic also from Europa Nostra Serbia volunteered in the Conference organizational team, while the Transilvania Trust from Romania (as well member organization of the Network) presented the project CSE in Heritage. read more

SEE Heritage Network participated the Europa Nostra Congress 2011
Representatives from eight SEE Heritage Network member organizations: Association for preservation of the cultural heritage, Macedonia; Cultural Heritage without Borders, Albania/ Bosnia and Herzegovinia/ Kosovo; Expeditio, Montenegro;  Europa Nostra Serbia; Gjirokastra Conservation and Development Organization, Albania; Projektor, Montenegro; Pro torpedo, Croatia; Transylvania Trust, Romania, and the SEE Heritage Network Secretariat, participated the Europa Nostra Annual Congress 2011 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. read more

TACSO Research

The SEE Heritage Network took part in the Research performed by the TACSO (Technical Assistance for CSOs – an EU funded project) Regional Office in Sarajevo, Bosnia & Herzegovina. The SEE Heritage Network Secretariat was approached by TACSO representative who explained that that the aim of the research is to identify regional network and to analyze their operational environment.  read more

Campaign for a European Industrial and Technical Heritage Year

The See Heritage Network also signed the Memorandum of the Campaign for a European Industrial and Technical Heritage Year and translated it in Macedonian, Montenegrin and Serbian. This Campaign was launched by the E-Faith - the European Federation of Associations of Industrial and Technical Heritage. read more

SEE Heritage Network meeting in Tirana

The 9th Meeting of the SEE Heritage Network took part on 12-14 July 2011 in Tirana, Albania. The meeting was organized by the Cultural Heritage without Borders (Tirana Office), the Albanian Heritage Foundation and the Gjirokasrtra Conservation and Development Foundation, in a close cooperation with the SEE Heritage Network Secretariat. read more

Appeal on the Petrovaradin Fortress

The Appeal on the Petrovaradin Fortress was initiated by Suburbium from Novi Sad, Serbia It was sent to the relevant local and national authorities, institutions and media, asking for revision of the planned activities for building new bridge over the Danube River which should connect the City of Novi sad and the Petrovaradin Fortress.  read more

The SEE Heritage Network signed the "We are more!" Campaign,and therefore supports the appeal for increased fund for culture in the next EU budget. read more

Membership in the “European Heritage Alliance 3.3”

The SEE Heritage Network became a member of the “European Heritage Alliance 3.3”which was launched in Amsterdamby more than 25 European and International networks and organisations active in the wider field of cultural heritage on the occasion of the European Heritage Congress 2011organized by Europa Nostra in Amsterdam. read more

Aiming to get a picture about capacities of NGOs that are members of SEE Heritage network, in order to realize where are the individual members’ weak points and what is needed to improve their work and to realize their, as well as Network’s mission, the Network Secretariat performed a Questionnaire on the Network capacity building. read more
