Hi folks!

Here's some of the new and interesting keto-friendly places and products added to Keto List Singapore during the past 2 weeks:

The hardest part about the keto diet (for me at least) - no noodles/pasta...until now.

I recently discovered pasta that's keto-friendly, called Natural Heaven. It's a gluten- and preservative-free pasta substitute that made with hearts of palm - unusual but interesting! Online orders only. Locally, Deanna's Kitchen offers halal prawn noodles with shirataki noodles - what a godsend! Apparently the owner is on keto too, hence the keto option.

Keto options getting popular in business district?

Keto food options seems to be getting more commonplace in the business district. Just at One Raffles Place ground floor alone, there's 3 eateries with keto choices to build your own lunch bowl:

  • Guilt-Free - serves konjac rice, konjac olive rice, konjac penne, braised pork belly (with sauce using erythritol).

  • Kipos - keto bowl, paleo bowl and gluten-free bowls.

  • Haakon - salad bowls with options for shirataki and zucchini noodles.

Never realised how hard it was to get fried chicken wings that's not marinated or breaded

But found it at Wing Zone recently, at Bugis+. The burgers (minus the buns) are also pretty good.

Recent keto events

There was 1 recent keto event that you might have missed:

  • Secret to Permanent Weight Loss workshop - Talks & food demo by experienced keto practitioners Mark Myerson & Christie Kamala. Heard many good reviews from the talk, from the useful info-graphics from Mark to the lovely keto ice cream from Christie. I missed the event but will sure keep an eye out for it the next time. Watch out for future updates on events on Keto List.

Updates on Keto List Singapore - very first sponsor, new features, more development

Guess what? Keto List Singapore just got it first sponsor - BenBanter. It's great having Mark from BenBanter to support this site. We met over bulletproof coffee and found lots of common ground in terms of our values and thinking. Not to mention I also love BenBanter products - the keto bars and snacks are a lifesaver when I travel, or when I'm craving a little sweet snack. Mark was super generous to offer to sponsor this site (even though it's so early stage right now and we don't have much to show for), and I gladly took it!

This helps me keep Keto List Singapore going for at least the first year. I would be able to continue updating the directory and build new features for the keto community in Singapore. With this sponsorship, I added a custom domain, so the site now lives at ketolistsingapore.com. I also just added product voting so that the community can vote on their favourite products/places. More features coming: promos and deals, a geolocation map of shops and eateries to find your nearest keto-friendly place when out.

I'm also open to hearing your suggestions for new features you might want, so do let me know here

Keto on,

Jason
