Times are rough, no doubt! And we as the service design community will show courage to design for good! Collectively we will show solidarity in the most difficult time. We will engage with our fellow designers and create services to make this world a better place to live in.

On May 5th we will be 'Taking a Stand for Ukraine'—read more about this fundraising event below!

On May 21st and 22nd young service design talents will raise their voices at the Service Design Network Learning Fest! They are the future—not only of service design! 

And on October 13th and 14th the service design community worldwide will get together for the Service Design Global Conference 2022, either in Copenhagen or virtually! This hybrid event really makes us excited—'Courage to Design for Good' is our claim this year!

Let us use the tools and skills we have as service designers to discuss what is 'Good' not only for ourselves but especially for those people who are in need of support and affirmative action. Together, let us create a safe space for everyone to open up and have authentic conversations through our SDN-organised events and online platforms.

SDN Taking a Stand for Ukraine!

The Service Design Network is bringing together the biggest names in the world of design to take a stand for Ukraine.

SDN 'Taking a Stand for Ukraine' is a 90-minute virtual event that shows the solidarity of the design community with the people of Ukraine. More importantly, it raises money for World Central Kitchen, a charity that is delivering vital relief as the Ukrainian conflict continues.

This fundraising event on May 5th at 18:00 CEST will explore the role of design in times of war and humanitarian crisis. Speakers will look at the roles that design currently plays and explore roles that design could, and should play in addressing crises and shaping positive futures.

Service Design Practitioner Curriculum Course 

The Service Design Practitioner Curriculum with SDN President Prof. Birgit Mager (she/her) as the lead trainer, SDN Acc. Master Lindsay Keith (he/him), SDN Acc.
