This GivingTuesday is today, December 1, Fur Kids Foundation wants to inspire you to help us raise $1,000 to help local families afford emergency veterinary care.
All too often animals suffer needlessly or are put down due to expensive veterinary bills. Created in November 2011, Fur Kids Foundation helps families with pets afford emergency veterinary care when they cannot afford it in Campbell County. Many people have been laid off in Campbell County, Wyoming due to changing national and worldwide energy needs and wants, and due to the devastating effects that COVID-19 has had on our national and state economy. Fur Kids Foundation has seen an uptick in families who need help when their pet gets hurt or ill unexpectedly.
This is how your donation can help local families with pets:
$50 helps cover the cost of an emergency veterinary visit
$100 helps cover the cost of an emergency veterinary visit and medication
$300 helps cover the cost of an emergency veterinary visit, medication and tests
$500 helps cover the cost of an emergency veterinary overnight stay
$1,000 helps cover the cost of an emergency veterinary surgery
Here is how you can support Fur Kids Foundation on December 1:
Donate to our Facebook Fundraiser (Facebook pays all the processing fees for you, so 100% of your donation goes directly to the nonprofit.)
In 2020, Fur Kids Foundation's volunteers have helped 110 families with pets, granting more than $32K in emergency veterinary care. Since we began in 2011, we've helped more than 825 Campbell County, Wyoming families and granted nearly $170K. Our volunteer board works hard to make sure that roughly 70% of our funds go to our mission.
Your generous donations help keep local families with pets healthy and happy for years to come. We need your support this year more than ever.
