JULY 2021

Navigating Together

More than 100 Alaska seafood industry participants and experts make up the board and committee network that help steer ASMI's work. This volunteered time and support are crucial to ASMI's mission to increase the value of Alaska's seafood resource.

ASMI was recently allocated American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and CARES Act funding by the Alaska Legislature and the Dunleavy administration to further our marketing efforts to help Alaska's seafood industry recover from the wide-ranging impacts of the pandemic by expanding awareness and preference for Alaska seafood. Our board, committee and industry members will continue to provide guidance and insight for the strategic utilization of these funds. If you would like to serve on an ASMI committee, the 2021 application period opens August 2nd at the link below.
