Audubon commissioned Greg Kahn to document ornithologists searching for the Ivory Billed Woodpecker, which is thought to be extinct, in the jungles of Cuba.

Greg Kahn for National Geographic Traveler Magazine

+ June 1

National Geographic Traveler Magazine sent Greg Kahn to the Philippines to photograph a story on sour foods and food culture in Manila.

The Washingtonian commissioned Lexey Swall to photographed “Rehoboth Gone Wild: Inside the Insane Feud in a Delaware Beach Town”.

Tristan Spinski for Audubon Magazine

+ July 1

Tristan Spinski documented a bird and wildlife survey expedition into a remote, extinct volcanic crater in Equatorial Guinea for the cover story of Audubon.

Greg Kahn in PDN Annual

PDN recognized Greg for two projects, “The Black Family in the Age of Mass Incarceration,” photographed for The Atlantic, and for his ongoing sea level rise project, 3 Millimeters, in this year’s PDN Photo Annual.

Preston Gannaway  based in San Francisco, CA will traveling to Zebulon, GA, south of Atlanta, for an exhibition from Sept. 15-18, and will be in Portland, OR, from Sept. 21-25 to coach the Momenta Workshops.

Greg Kahn based in Washington, D.C., will travel to New Hampshire July 21-25, and to the Eastern Shore of Maryland Sept 2-5 for his ongoing project on sea level rise, 3 Millimeters.

Tristan Spinski based in Portland, Maine, will travel to northern California Aug. 9-12, and will be working in Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, Wyoming Kansas and Nebraska from Aug. 5-Sept.1 for his ongoing project on the High Plains.

Lexey Swall based in Washington, D.C., will travel to New Hampshire July 21-25.
