We at GRAIN hope that all of you had a wonderful holiday season and you’ve managed to stay warm during this frigid start to the year. The new year has ushered in big changes and new opportunities for our photography collective.

 

+ Tristan’s wife, Sarah, accepted a job in Portland, Maine in early January. They, along with their dog, Billie Ocean, have moved north to the land of the wind chill factor. Tristan’s coverage area will be all of New England, including Portland and Boston. Please look him up for a drink if you’re ever in the Portland area.

 

+ Greg and Lexey will be presenting and reviewing work at the Women Photojournalists of Washington (WPOW) and Corcoran Association of Photojournalists Third Annual Photography Seminar and Portfolio Reviews taking place at the Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C. from 10 am - 3 pm on Sunday, February 9th.

+ Lexey joins the faculty for the Southern Short Course in Charlotte, N.C. from Feb. 20 - Feb. 23

+ Greg continues his work on sea level rise and climate change impacting communities on Maryland's Eastern Shore for his project, 3 Millimeters
