Before we get into the update we need to acknowledge recent tragic events that have caused all of us to self-reflect upon how we can do better. We are once again reminded of the inequalities and injustices that exists in our society.
We do not have all the answers, but we unite with the skateboard community and all Canadians in the fight against racism. That starts with listening, dialogue, and amplifying diverse voices for positive change in our world.

Canada Skateboard's president Ben Stoddard sat down with Dave Boyce, host of This Boyce Life with The Murmur. They discussed creation of the book "A Visual History; Canadian Skateboarding", as well as the changes to the upcoming 202One Olympics.
As skateparks across the country are reopening Canada Skateboard encourages all skaters to maintain physical distancing measures recommended by Canada's top doctors. Meet 10 year old Fay Ebert
Fay Ebert, showed up on our radar at the Hoedown at the Hoof contest last July. More recently she landed on the podium at Canada Skateboard's National Open in both Park and Street. The CBC caught up with her in May. Click on the link below to view the interview.
Canada Skateboard National Event Series - Photos and Update
Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, the 2020 National Series has been postponed. Our priority is to ensure that our National Event Series is hosted in a safe environment and is aligned with National, Provincial and Municipal health guidelines.
