Hello CCCSBA Representatives,
A short while ago, we sent a reminder about the October 1st CCCSBA General Meeting to our entire list, so we apologize for the additional email, but wanted to be sure you saw the agenda with links to the minutes and financial reports for the very brief representatives meeting prior to the general meeting. If you are the representative from your district, please sign on to Zoom at 5:30pm. The program will begin at 5:40pm. If you cannot attend, please send a substitute from your district. If you are no longer the representative from your district, please forward this email to the current representative AND email firstname.lastname@example.org the new representative's name and email address so we can correct our distribution list and website.
Thank you to those who have already registered. If you haven't yet, please Register in advance. Immediately after registering, you'll be emailed a unique-to-you URL to join the Zoom meeting, from email@example.com. We recommend that you add that link to your calendar to allow you to easily join the meeting.
Since other members of your governance team are more likely to open an email from you than one from CCCSBA.firstname.lastname@example.org, please encourage them to attend. We think the program, Institutionalizing Equity: Shifting the view of Equity to a lens that informs all of our work in schools will be worth everyone's time. It will include time for discussion and some resources to take back to your school district for further discussion and exploration related to equity.
If you have equity leaders in your school district, you are welcome to invite them too. We already have one equity director and two superintendents registered!
