God is on your side!

It is exciting to see how God continues to touch hearts of His people, with all the problems in the world it is easy to get tunnel vision focused on all of the bad things and miss how God is showing His love for each of us daily.  Joshua 11:4-6a  It looked like Joshua could not win, they were out manned, they did not have horses or chariots, and they had many less men.  Then God made a promise to Joshua, do not be afraid of your enemy, God is on our side.  When we look at the future with our natural eyes we may not be able to see how we will make it, but God has already been working on our behalf.

When you see men coming asking for food you know the family has real needs.

As a parent, it hurts our hearts to see our children suffer, the hopeless feeling that we do not have a way to help.
Most of us are blessed that we have never had to see any of our children cry for lack of food, but we have had to deal with sickness or other things where we were helpless to do anything to fix the problem.  So we can have compassion for these parents who would do anything to get food for our family, these people pray and ask God to help because they have no one else.  You can be a part of answering these prayers by helping this ministry that is working to do God's work day by day.  Matthew 25:45 “Then he will answer them, ‘Don’t you know? When you refused to help one of the least important among these my little ones, my true brothers and sisters, you refused to help and honor me.’
The need may seem too big for us to be able to fix, but, by praying for us you become part of the answer to this huge problem.  Our Lord loves each one of us and he gave each of us talents so when we work together people receive the Love of God, for some, it is the first time they have ever received this love in a physical way.  We know that the Word of God alone is sufficient to change lives forever, yet when we share the Word and also give them food it shows God's blessing for each of their children.  We tell them Jesus Loves You!!  To start the process for them to understand that salvation is a personal decision, each and every one of us has to make.  God is waiting for them with open arms, ready to forgive their sins and set them free.

The Mayagna Men receiving a course completion form!!

We are filled with Joy to see these men, as they receive this small gift for part one of their training.  The next training is planned for September, please pray that God will touch people's hearts to help with all of the things that have to happen for this training to take place.  We will be doing a one week full time training, so they do not have to be away from their families for so long.  These trainings cost these men time away from their families, we look for people to sponser all the cost for these trainings.

One soul at a time!

Sometimes people say we have seen so many pictures of children with a bowl of rice, believe me in all my years living here full time, I understand that feeling.  We have to remember God does not look at things the way we do, He looks at the heart, so we have to retrain our minds, eyes, and hearts to see people the way He does.  1 Timothy 2:3-4, 3 This is good, and pleases God our Savior, 4 who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.
