August 17th Program
Celebrating BPW Scholarships Past and Present

JOIN BPWNC AS WE CELEBRATE RE-ENTRY WOMEN FOR THE 25TH YEAR IN A ROW AND AWARD SCHOLARSHIPS TO FOUR DESERVING WOMEN! Your scholarship board had an abundance of fine applicants this year, women who are focused and determined. We will be giving four awards,
both Dolores “Dee” Eldridge and Helga Rohl Encouragement.

Without exception, the applicants display excellent academic work, have strong letters of reference and financial need. They model resilience and perseverance. Your board will be awarding over $5000 this year, resulting in a grand total of over $75,000 given over the years. The awardees will read their moving and inspirational essays and share their journeys with us. Don’t miss this. You are in for smiles and tears, laughter and inspiration. As you enjoy the evening, remember it is YOUR contribution that make this possible,
YOUR support that lets these women know, “We believe in You!”

Because you can never have too much celebrating, we will also be marking Women’s Equality Day which falls on August 26 every year. 2022 commemorates the 103rd year since the ratification of the 19th amendment guaranteeing women the right to vote. Let’s celebrate this privilege women fought so hard to achieve! And let’s stay vigilant in the maintenance of our rights! See you on the 17th!
