What's New:

Check out the newest pet neckwear added to my ArtFire shop for Easter and Spring:

Spring Easter Scrunchie Bandanas by SewAmazinScrunchie Bandanas are a new style added to my shop in February 2013, adapted from the design for bandana-style collar slipcovers. They have elastic neckbands and slip easily over the head, similar to my Scrunchie Neck Ruffles.

Scrunchie Bandanas do not attach to the collar, so they're great for pets who wear harnesses instead of collars. They stretch to about 1.5X the neck size of your pet. Size is based on both the drop height of the bandana and your pet's neck measurement for a custom fit.

Many of my shop listings for Spring, Valentine's, St. Patrick's Day and Easter collar slipcover bandanas have been updated to indicate that they can also be ordered as scrunchie bandanas. I'll be adding this choice to Summer and Patriotic designs, too.

If you prefer an over-the-collar style of bandana in the new Spring fabrics, contact me through my shop or send me an email with your request.

New listings for Pet Scrunchie Neck Ruffles feature fabric designs with Jelly Beans, Vintage Bunnies, Abstract Eggs and more Bunnies on Lavender Gingham.

Owl Cases: Recent additions to my ArtFire and Etsy shops include wristlet cell phone cases and a large owl-shaped tablet case.

Retro Mini Owls in Blue, Wristlet Purse for cell phone, ipod, cameraThis Blue Retro Mini Owls wristlet case has colorful miniature owls on the cover fabric and a removable wrist strap. It's large enough to carry my Samsung Galaxy S3 phone with a cover. A dividing pocket inside lets you carry folded money, ID or your ear buds along with your phone. A matching smaller zipcase and coordinating pink versions are also available.

Large Owl shaped zipper case for small readers, tablets, iPad Mini by SewAmazinWhooo can resist this adorable Black and White Large Owl-shaped Zipper Case? Sized to carry smaller tablets and e-readers like the iPad Mini and Kindle Fire, it can accommodate other devices up to about 6x9 inches. This padded case can be made to order in your choice of colors and can be modified to add a shoulder or wrist strap.

Other News:
2nd Anniversary Giveaway: April 1, 2013 marks my 2nd Anniversary in Sew Biz! To celebrate, I'm planning to have a Giveaway on my blog. Details will be included in a separate email and blog post on or about March 30th.

Rescue Donations: Each quarter, I donate a percentage of sales of pet neckwear and other animal-themed items to either WestieMed or Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge, Inc. (RBARI). At the end of last year, I sent donations from Oct-Dec 2012 to WestieMed for $30 and RBARI for $45. That brings the total money donations for 2012 to $188 for WestieMed and $146 for RBARI, or $334 overall! Thank you to everyone who shopped SewAmazin last year!

Hurricane Sandy: In the previous newsletter, I shared that members of our extended family in Breezy Point had been affected by the storm. Last year, I decided to donate 10% of the sales from the Christmas and Holiday Gift section of my ArtFire shop to Hurricane Sandy relief. This Spring, I added 10% of the sales of Valentine/St. Patrick's Day Lips Purses & Cases and $1.00 for each Lucky Shamrock Wool Felt Pin for St. Patrick's Day. When I accumulate enough towards a donation, I'll pick a local organization that is directly involved in aiding the Breezy Point community and will share the information in my newsletter, on my blog and on my Facebook page.

Customer Photos:

Many thanks to everyone who shared photos with us! I received quite a few customer photos since the last newsletter that I'm thrilled to share, starting with this Christmas Holiday collage with one bandana and a whole lot of scrunchie ruffles!

Clockwise from the top left corner are MacKenzie, Sadie, Fiona, Yorkie, Maggie and Charlie and Brodie. They're all wearing Red Tartan Plaid neckwear except for Sadie who has on a Jingle Bells Red with Gold Swirls ruffle (without the jingle bells).

Every doggie is Irish on St. Patty's Day and Jonni's eyes are smiling! He's wearing his Shamrocks, Pitchers & Pints scrunchie neck ruffle for St. Patrick's Day.

These two girls are ready for summer fun: Karlee (left) wears her Stars & Stripes scrunchie ruffle and Gidget (right) shows off her Pink Flowers Surfer Girl over-the-collar bandana.
