Use Your Imagination

Families who are part of faith communities often ask, what can I do at home? How can I help my kids grow into their own spirituality? Honestly, there are very simple things we can do as a family that naturally encourage spiritual growth. . . things a lot of families already do. Nancy Bostrom wrote a lovely book called, 99 Ways to Raise Spiritually Healthy Children. I hope this excerpt plants seeds and offers ideas and encouragement for families of ALL SHAPES AND SIZES.

Kindergarten & 3rd Grade Bibles

Join us this Sunday at 11 am worship when we present Bibles to Kindergarten and 3rd grade children in our church school program! It is important to leaders of Plymouth's children's programming that each child owns their own Bible, from which they can read, be read to, learn the stories of our faith, ask questions and experience the love of God, all at their developmental level. Please come and support our children on this important Sunday.

Introducing Kristin Ford

Thanks so much to Kristin for offering to be a consistent presence in the K-2 class this year! Kristin will both teach and at times be the familiar face in the room, know the children, get the group's attention when necessary and lead opening and closing of each class.

Ford says, "I am the wife of Paul Ford and mother of Esme and Eamon. I just finished seven years of working in my children's cooperative schools (pre-school and elementary).
