Over the past few weeks I have been blessed with hugs, cards, bubbles, words of thanks and a festive staff Christmas party! My cup runneth over! For all of the challenges that go along with ministry, hearing stories about ways my ministry has impacted families makes me feel even more grateful for having had the opportunity to serve here. Thank you for all of the wonderful memories I'll be taking with me - FANTASTIC kids, Family Worship, Confirmation, CY Board, an amazing staff, eager and innovative church school teachers . . . I could go on! For all the times each of us missed the mark, I ask for and offer forgiveness. May we all continue to… Read full article >
Children in Church School this Sunday
This Sunday, instead of going to worship for the first 15 min, the elementary children (grades K-6) are invited to go straight to church school at 11am. Some will be going there straight from children's choir. If your child is not in choir, please drop him/her off in room 221 with Beverly Harding Buehler. The children will make Tie Fleece Blankets for children of Mary's Place! They will join two layers of fleece together by tying fringes together with knots. With each knot, the children will say a prayer for the recipient. Blankets will be blessed and delivered to Mary's Place by Christmas.
Mid-Winter Camp for Youth!
Plymouth youth are invited to connect with youth across the conference at our annual Mid-Winter Retreats at Pilgrim Firs!
The dates for camp are Jan 9-11 for Jr. High (grades 7-9) January 9-11, and Sr. High (grades 10-12).
This is a great way to unplug for a weekend, connect with other youth, make some new friends and explore your faith!
No Sunday School Dec. 28 and Jan 4, but child care help needed!!!
We are giving our Sunday School teachers a break! During the 11:00am service on Dec. 28 and Jan. 4 (the only service on these days!) there will be an activity table for kids in Hildebrand Hall and child care available on the first floor for children in pre-K through 2nd grade. Please let Jamie Shilling know if you can help with child care on Jan 4 from 10:45-12:15pm. This is typically a Sunday when we have a lot of young children who would enjoy your company. You would be assisting our expert Youth Forum child care providers! Call Jamie directly if you can help! 206-948-5725
