A Good Friday Story for Children
The Tale of Three Trees
This traditional folktale tells of three little trees that have big dreams. One longs to be made into a beautiful treasure chest; another imagines that it will be a great ship. The third hopes to remain high on the mountain and point the way to God. One day three woodcutters come and take down all three trees. The first becomes a feedbox for animals; the second is crafted into a simple fishing boat instead of a great ship. The third is simply stripped into beams and left in the lumberyard.

Sunday, March 24: Palm Sunday
Regular worship and church school schedules. Labyrinth open at 10am.
FOCUS Reveal - K12 class dramatizing the Palm Sunday story. The congregation will participate in song and by throwing palms and clothes at Jesus' feet. (K12 kids will remain in worship)
FOCUS - Amy Neer will hold her final practice with her bell choir during worship.
Workshop for Parents after worship: "Sexuality, Your Teen & Faith" with Amy Johnson
Sunday, April 7 - Church school on regular schedule
Sunday, April 14 - Family Worship at 10am - We will explore (road) signs on the path of life.
Sunday, April 21 - Church school on regular schedule
Teacher meeting after 11am worship.
Sunday, April 28 - Church school on regular schedule (Karen at PNCUCC Annual Meeting).
