This Sunday, after 11 am worship, the congregational will vote whether or not to fund Sanctuary Improvements. So, I want to make sure everyone knows what to expect in terms of church school and childcare. I will be away at confirmation retreat and unavailable to coordinate Sunday activities.
Plan for PreK: Kids will show up for class as usual at 10 am or 11 am. Childcare providers will arrive at noon and take over for church school teachers. Providers will remain in the PreK room until 1:30 pm.
Plan for Elementary: Kids will attend church school as usual at 11:15 am. At noon, the K-2 class will be escorted to the… Read full article >
Prayers for the Confirmation Retreat
Friday, 10 youth and 3 adults will travel to Camp Berachah, in Black Diamond, to experience fun, games and what it means to live a life of discipleship. We will be gone Friday night until Sunday noon (when we return for the VOTE!). Mentors will join us Saturday, mid-day to get acquainted . . . and have more fun.
We ask your prayers as we embark on the weekend, prayers that God will keep us all safe and that we will have a safe space to explore our faith.
Capital Campaign Vote
November 17, right after church, is your opportunity to cast your vote about whether to proceed with the capital campaign. Childcare will be provided after services and the confirmation class will return from their retreat at noon, before the vote, so leaders and parent drivers may participate. Please note this on your calendars and be present! For more information, see this week's Herald.
Advent Mission Project
During Advent, elementary children will prepare for Jesus coming into the world by bringing light into people's lives. They will create lanterns for WHEEL women who sleep in their classroom at night. You can support this project by:
1. Volunteer to provide an extra set of hands in the classroom December 8 and/or December 22.
2. Bringing travel size toiletries to church so kids can assemble toiletry packets to go… Read full article >

If you're new to Plymouth or just didn't know or didn't remember, we offer child care every Sunday for children through 2nd grade or older based on availability and need! Childcare providers are available in first floor clasrooms beginning at 8:30 am until Toddler/PreK church school starts at 10 am, and again from 12:15 pm until 1:30 pm. Child care can also be arranged for special Plymouth events on other days/evenings. Event organizers: Please help support this ministry by notifying Jamie Shilling when childcare is needed and then confirm the need in advance of the event so Jamie may extend a welcome to parents! Thank you!
