Only If You Stop
When was the last time you felt inspired by another person's actions and perspective? Did seeing or being around them spark emotions within you?
I believe we are surrounded by everyday heroes. They come in all ages, vocations, and walks of life. Life is sacred and those who embrace it as such are truly the richest beings on the planet. Inspiration and passion are the internal fuel when external challenge attempts to block the path.
Instead of seeing a situation as a "problem" start by changing your mindset and replace it with the word "challenge." A challenge will get your creative juices flowing and looking for ways to conquer rather than dwelling on the negative.
Attitude is a learned behavior. Be aware of your self-talk and know if it is negative, otherwise it will sabotage all efforts sooner or later.
What if you choose to soar like an eagle and surround yourself with positive sources? These sources may include mentors, uplifting reading, and quality music. Know that you are uniquely you and designed for greatness--- greatness meaning "you made a difference."
As Dr. Seuss stated: "To the world you may be one person; but to one person you may be the world." Learning to live your life, doing your personal best, and finding peace in knowing you are enough is what a life well lived is all about.
Rather than getting caught up in comparing ourselves to others, aim for personal growth in all your efforts and relationships. Things are only impossible if you lose sight and hope of what you want.
There are two pains we can suffer from in life. One is the pain of discipline and the other is the pain of regret. The difference is discipline weighs ounces and is temporary. The pain of regret weighs tons and lasts a lifetime.
Being willing to step outside one's comfort zone and attempt what others won't is scary but it is also exciting and where growth occurs. Another word for taking this action is courage. Courage isn't without fear; courage walks through fear with expectation of good things to happen.
The word "impossible" with a little space between the "m" and the "p" says it all: I'm Possible.
Are you battling some fears that are holding you back? Let me empower you with a simple yet profound way of pushing beyond them. Take a pen and write the fear on the bottom of your shoe. With every step you take, you are now stomping out that fear. Action Required! Squash your fears by addressing them for what they are, merely false evidence appearing real.
Beware of the three steps that lead into failure: Fear, which leads to doubt, which leads to procrastination.
Fear and faith cannot co-exist. Instead of telling God how big your problems are, start telling your problems how BIG your God is! Ask. Trust. Believe. Expect. Nothing is impossible!
Until next month...
