As a psychotherapist, motivational speaker, author, Neurolinquistic Programming (NLP) trainer and theorist, Dianne Pela-Melillo has extensive experience and training in the facilitation of recovery from addictions, grief, trauma, anxiety, depression and bipolar disorder.
As a pioneer in the work of utilizing NLP as a modality for forgiveness, relapse prevention, grief recovery and shame reduction, Dianne has assisted many participants as they GROW through their pain toward a new beginning filled with hope.
Within her private practice, workshops, seminars and intensives as well as in the two renowned treatment centers in which she has held positions, Dianne’s ability to facilitate a solid path toward healing comes from her own personal journey through pain, ultimately arriving at restoration and forgiveness.
Her innovative book entitled God is Not a Catholic: A Recovery Journey for Adult Children of Parochial Schools promotes forgiveness as a tool for healing.

If you attended OM’s Bryan Baskett’s healing presentation at Unity Spiritual Centre Girard on June 28, 2022, please email me at rdjuntunen@gmail.com and let me know if you would like to schedule more healing presentations on a periodic basis, such as quarterly. I would like to know what you liked or disliked about the evening, so we can better plan for future gatherings physically at the Centre. I am also interested in hearing from you as to what other new topics you might like to include to study or practice (online or at the Centre), if any. If you experienced a healing, and would be willing to let us know, and possibly provide a testimonial for future healing presentations, please also let me know that as well.
In July 2022, we return to the normal schedule of studying and practicing Sanskrit mantras from 6:45-7:30PM Eastern Time, and, separately, sitting through a Dr. Joe Dispenza guided meditation titled “Coherence” (from his Becoming Supernatural book) from 7:30-8:15PM Eastern Time. Evolution of consciousness is individual, not collective. Although the whole of humanity may benefit from certain changes brought about by evolution of others, evolution itself is experienced only through individual effort. All of the Unity teachings are about making those right efforts. In regard to miracles, it is good to remember that there will always be a level of consciousness above whatever level we are on at any given moment. The higher levels of consciousness generate higher types of energies. These higher types of energies can accomplish things on lower levels which can only be described as miraculous.

An atheist was walking through the woods.
As he was walking alongside the river, he heard a rustling in the bushes behind him. He turned to look. He saw a 7-foot, grizzly bear charging towards him.
He ran as fast as he could up the path. He looked over his shoulder and saw the bear was closing in on him. He looked over his shoulder again and the bear was even closer.
He tripped and fell on the ground.
He rolled over to pick himself up but saw the bear was right on top of him; reaching for him with his left paw and raising his right paw to strike him. At that instant, the Atheist cried out, “Oh my God!”
Time stopped. The bear froze. The forest was silent.
As a bright light shone upon the man a voice came out of the sky, “You deny my existence for all these years, teach others I don’t exist and even credit creation to a cosmic accident. Do you really expect me to help you out of this predicament?”
The atheist looked directly into the light, and said, “It would be hypocritical of me to suddenly ask you to treat me as a Christian now, but perhaps you could make the BEAR a Christian?”
“Very well,” said the voice.
The light went out. The sounds of the forest resumed. And the bear dropped his right paw, brought both paws together, bowed his head and spoke:
“Lord bless this food which I am about to receive from Thy bounty through Christ our Lord, Amen.”

Cleaning out the Closet…..
Recently, I began cleaning out my closet of clothes as well as other items that have been stored for the last few years. I thought I would just zip through the task and be done with it. Not so! I had to make decisions about what to keep and what to release. So, I made the traditional 3 piles – Keep – Release – Maybe. But then, I invented others - Give Away; Keep sentimental items; Keep in case I lose weight/ gain weight. As I looked at the mini piles of items I created, I had to ask myself, “Why am I making this so complicated?
July is the month that we celebrate the 4th of July or Independence Day when we became a country ruled from within and not from England. There are many countries in our world that have their own days of celebration as they declared their own freedom of ownership also.
The word when broken down is in-dependence. When the letters IN are in front of a word it means NOT. Therefore independent would be broken down to “NOT Dependent”. As a nation we became wholly dependent on ourselves for our rules and our future and we released England’s control and demands.
As human beings, living in the earthly realm, we are dependent on our senses which allow us to see, hear, touch, feel, smell and taste. We depend on our senses to get us through our daily walk, yet we can become so dependent on them that we focus on that side of our beingness and not on the spiritual side which is within (here the word with-in means INside). The saying in Unity is “ I AM a Spiritual Being having a human experience” and that is the saying we need to depend on as we move through this realm.
When we depend on spirit we are independent or not dependent on our senses. The benefit is that with spirit all things are possible but with senses we are limited beings,
Charles Fillmore calls the fall of man, one who has fallen into a sense consciousness rather than a spiritual consciousness, and the goal is to move through that and rise up out of the physical into the spiritual in mind-heart and soul.
Revealing Word defines Fall as: --A retrogression in consciousness from the pristine Christ Mind to the personal and sense mind of the Adam man. Revealing Word defines sense consciousness as:--A mental state formed from believing in and acting through the senses. It is the serpent consciousness, deluded with sensation. Judgments based on outer appearances--the senses--produce discordant thoughts, jealousies, and a host of limiting beliefs.
Let’s take this month, day by day, to focus on the Spiritual side of life and NOT-DEPEND on the Physical side of our beingness. The body was created to function on its own. Let our decisions, ideas and thoughts focus on Spiritual Truth for that will set us Free.

Jn 8:31-32 Then Jesus said to the Jews who had believed in him, ‘If you continue in my word, you are truly my disciples; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.’
The Board wasn't able to meet in June. The meeting was to take place at Cays and Reeds but was
cancelled when Cay found she had Covid. The meeting was postponed by vote and is to be held July 17, at the normal scheduled meeting.
The Board is continually grateful for the Financial Support that has continued to flow into the Centre during this time of physical separation. We continue to have more income than expenses and have been able to be good stewards of the finances for this Truth Ministry. Thank you!
We affirm a safe and healthy summer for all of you and look forward to our yearly time of fellowship during the August 7th Annual picnic after service.
There are a lot of new and different programs scheduled throughout the summer and into fall and we hope that they speak to you spiritually and you choose to attend some or all of them. Make sure you check out game night on the 3 rd Tuesdays for some fun!
