As we near to the close of the year... scary, I know - just want to reiterate how grateful I am to have the Jaycees in my life. It has made my life so much better and I hope it has done the same for you all. Don't forget how unique we are... in a city of 50,000 people and we care enough about our community and ourselves to make it better. That's pretty special, don't you think? Don't take things for granted... live each moment and enjoy life. Enjoy what you do! And I am grateful you all have chosen to enjoy being a Jaycee. You rock.

The Jaycee movement is 100 years strong and I'll keeping saying it... We have been making a difference in this world for 100 years and guaranteed for many more. It's amazing feeling to be part of that.

So, lets finish out this year strong and celebrate all the fun moments we had giving back and doing good. Active citizenship at its finest. Thank you all for your dedication and commitment, it does not go unnoticed.

The monthly chapter & board meeting minutes are available at

The Jaycees Celebrated 100 Years on October 13, 2015!

Hello all! It’s November and everyone is starting to get into the holiday spirit. With the ideas for the Holiday Parade this year to promote and recognize what we do every year, it’s a renewed excitement for the chapter as whole. And in full holiday spirit, the Christmas party will be on Dec. 3rd, stay tuned for details. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Dining Club at Jakum's Hall • November 10 @ 6pm

It’s no surprise to anyone that Bob and Fern from Talk of the town, now of Jakum’s Hall, have support the Jaycees in more ways than we can count. Their support for the DOT has overwhelmed us. With that said, let’s overwhelm them. Please join us at Jakum’s Hall on Nov. 10th at 6:00 to give our love back to them. Don’t forget about the Holiday Parade meeting beforehand. Click HERE to sign-up!

Thank you!
Ashley, Mary, and Lee

Installation Banquet will take place on
Saturday, January 30, 2016 at the Yacht Club.

More details will be available soon.

The Installation Banquet is a formal banquet we have each January to thank the officers and members from the previous year and then "install" the officers for the new year. During the banquet we also "roast" aging-out members who are 40 or 41. Statesman and Senator awards are presented as well. And all those incentive points that you've been earning all year are transferred into tickets that you can use to enter for awesome raffle prizes.

Hello friends and community members,

I'd like to start off by thanking you for supporting the Dominion of Terror. The Jaycees have put on a heck of a show down there and raised a good chunk of cash that'll be put back in the community.

With the holiday season approaching we'll be busy making sure those who are struggling, get a helping hand. One way we're doing this is by volunteering with the Salvation Army and ringing their bells outside local retail stores. If you have any interest in ringing with us come on down to our next Chapter meeting and we'll get you all signed up.

I have yet another thank you to shout out. Thank You! for donating your new or gently used coats during our last warm and fuzzy. We had a car-full of coats, close to 100 actually, and put quite the dent in the Coats for Kids goal.
