Hello everyone,

I am excited to be your 2016 President. This is a great organization with equally great people and I'm proud to be apart of it. I've seen the good that we can accomplish together and I'm looking to expand upon that.

When asked to become this year's President I thought about why I had become a Jaycee in the first place. There were two reasons: 1) to better the community, and 2) to better myself. Those two reasons convinced me to join the Jaycees and now they've convinced me to become President.

I have a few goals and ideas for this year that I'll be talking about at the January Chapter Meeting, but I'm looking forward to your input too. Don't hesitate to share you ideas with me or the Chapter.

This is going to be great year full of fun and burpees ;-) Let's show Sheboygan what we can do!

Check out the full list of the 2016 Board Members

The monthly chapter & board meeting minutes are available at

The Installation Banquet is a formal banquet we have each January to thank the officers and members from the previous year and then "install" the officers for the new year. During the banquet we also "roast out" members who are 40 or 41. Statesman and Senator awards are presented as well. This banquet is a fun celebration for all members of the chapter and guests. Every meeting, event, and activity you've attended and helped out with this year goes toward the 2015 Participation Program. You’ll have a chance to exchange the participation points you've accumulated throughout the year for awesome prizes at the banquet.

► Presidential Reception • 4:00-5:30 pm • Hosted by Nick Schmitz
► Dinner/Cash Bar • 5:30-7:30 pm • Food choices: Chicken, Beef, Vegetable, or Gluten-Free
► Awards Presentation • 7:00-9:00 pm
► Dance • 9:00 pm-Midnight
Formal attire is strongly requested (absolutely no jeans or khakis)
• Dinner and dance price is $35 per person ($70 per couple)
• Dance only price is $20 per person
Please make checks payable to: Sheboygan Jaycees, PO Box 561, Sheboygan, WI 53082. Or you can pay via PayPal sending to shebjcs@gmail.com (include your food choice in the comments section).

Welcome to 2016 everyone! It's a new year with new faces! I am excited to be in a new role and a part of the success that is The Sheboygan Jaycees this year. I am going to try and set a new bar this year and try to do different things. Hope you guys had good holidays and see you all soon.

CPR Training • At the QVC prior to the Chapter Meeting
Thursday, February 4 @ 6pm

Would you know what to do if you faced a medical emergency? Every year nearly 383,00 out-of-hospital sudden cardiac arrests occur in the United States. Less than 8% survive. The American Heart Association states that if effective bystander CPR is administered immediately after sudden cardiac arrest, then the victim's chance of survival can be doubled or even tripled. At this training you will learn how to perform CPR on SimMan.

Participation Incentives

Did you know that every time you run a project, attend a meeting, or participate in our events that you are working your way towards the chance to win fabulous prizes? Throughout the year we're tracking the participation of all chapter members so that at our banquet in January we convert the points into tickets that can be used to enter into drawings for tons of awesome prizes. We've had prizes such as Coach purses, power tools, tablets, gift cards, gift baskets, and much more. So be sure to sign-in at every meeting or event in order to earn as many points as possible. Click HERE to view the current incentive tracking spreadsheet.

Theme: "The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly"
