MNSU Immigration Attorney Updates

The MSU Student Government has just recently contracted with an attorney who has expertise in the area of immigration law.  This is exciting, as the Student Government has not been able to offer that previously.

Consultations with that attorney may be scheduled beginning August 24, when Fall classes start.  The Student Government Office Manager will be working with that attorney’s staff to help schedule consultations.

In the meantime, the attorneys with Knutson + Casey, the firm who has provided general consultations may be able to respond to your question, but they may not know the answer, as immigration law is not an area in which they practice.  If your question is something regarding a matter of known fact, that the Kearney International Center may be able to answer, you might check there, as well.

You will likely hear from one of the Knutson-Casey attorneys, and you may choose to let them know what your question is.  If they are able to answer it, they will.  If not, we will need to wait to schedule something until August 24.

Thank you for reaching out.

Student Government Advisor
