Apparently we all like figgy pudding.....

If you work in a town - sorry.)

Win a Learnworks Session

As a Christmas Gift to the recipients of the Learnworks Newsletter, your L&D team have a chance to participate in a Complete Training Workshop.

You'll gain unique access to pre-workshop materials to conduct your own appraisal and then a half day workshop session where we'll work through the issues you have discovered. The outcome is the start of the process of revising and reviewing your L&D strategy for the future. There are follow up calls and materials to ensure you have continued guidance.

This session usually costs £1100. Not only can you gain it for free but there is also two free copies of Complete training: from recruitment to retirement to provide continued guidance for you and your L&D colleagues.

To have a chance of winning, simply reply to this email explaining how your team could benefit from help with your learning strategy in 2015.

Season's Greetings

It's been an exciting and interesting 12 months and  I hope it's been as much fun for you as it has been for me.  My own highlight for 2014 was being asked to Chair the World of Learning Conference. A great experience and one I hope to repeat in 2015.

As in previous years I'll be making a donation instead of posting out Christmas cards to work colleagues. Having travelled to Africa in April 2014 and worked with a group from South Sudan, it seems only right that I should support the work being done by UNHCR there. The continuing conflict has forced over a third of a million children from their homes.  You can help out too by clicking this link.

I'm also happy to support Learn Appeal.
The organisers of Learning Technologies have very generously donated two Conference tickets (worth £1,099 + VAT each) to help raise the charity’s profile and, at the same time, raise funds.

To enter and support Learn Appeal, visit their fundraising page, suggest an innovative way Learn Appeal could use technology enabled learning to support disadvantaged communities and make a minimum donation of £10 via their BT Donate charity page.

Not charity but another type of gift.
I'd like to offer you the chance to win a session for your L&D team as a gift from Learnworks.  See the panel on the left for details of how to participate in this unique opportunity.

Have a great festive break and I look forward to catching up with you again in 2015.
Robin Hoyle
