I want to give a special thanks to the graduating class of 2022. Don’t forget the unique experiences that you had at Park City High School. Stand tall and never underestimate what you are capable of and the impact you will have on the world. We will miss you.

2022 National Merit Scholarship Awardee


Congratulations to senior Katherine Zara Beal who was awarded a $2,500 scholarship from the National Merit Scholarship Corporation!

Out of the 15,000 National Merit finalists from across the country, 2,500 students received awards as Merit Scholars. These winners were selected based on several different aspects: academic record, including the difficulty level of subjects; studied and grades earned; scores from the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®); contributions and leadership in school and community activities; an essay written by the finalist; and a recommendation written by a high school official.

Third Annual Student Service Award


Graduating seniors who completed 200+ hours of community service over the past four years were awarded and received a service cord for graduation. Congratulations to the following seniors for earning the Student Service Award:

A special mention goes to Lauren Allen who was selected as the 2022 top senior honoree! She had 200+ hours of community service for just this past year. During her four years at PCHS, she committed more than 400+ hours volunteering with organizations like Recycle Utah, Little Miracles, the Youth Resource Center, Summit County Children's Justice Center, Peace House, Nuzzles & Co., the Christian Center and National Ability Center. For this honor, she received $1,000 to donate to the non-profit organization of her choice.

Spring 2022 Academic All-State


Every season, the UHSAA evaluates nominees based on their unweighted cumulative high school GPA, ACT/SAT score and nomination form. Students must be a varsity contributor and have either a 4.0 unweighted GPA or meet a determined index score.

Congratulations to several students for their college scholarships and awards totaling more than $18,000,000! Success in all areas has been achieved by students of the PCHS’s 2022 class: athletic, academic, musical, merit, military, presidential and more! While there are too many to mention by name, PCSD is so proud of each one of you. Keep striving for greatness!

Fun Stats on the Class of 2022


According to a senior poll and Naviance, PCHS seniors reported the following:
  • 53% played a PCHS sport
  • More than 80% worked a paying job at some point during high school
  • Average GPA of 3.529
  • Average ACT score of 22
  • Average SAT (out of 1600) score of 1255 
  • 66% earned a concurrent enrollment college credit either with UVU or WSU
  • 73% plan to attend a 4-year college
  • Of that 73%, 44% will be staying in Utah
  • 9% plan to be attend 1-year or 2-year certificate/degree college programs
  • 8 students plan to study out of the country
  • More than $18,000,000 earned in scholarships

Park City High School Ranks 2nd Best Public School in Utah


According to Niche.com, PCHS has been ranked the 2nd Best Public High School in Utah for 2022! The following areas were graded:

  • College Prep: Grade A
  • Clubs and Activities: Grade A
    Health & Safety: Grade A
  • Sports: Grade A-
