Strands of Genius is curated lovingly by Rosie & Faris, usually on Mondays & Thursdays, but occasionally you'll find it in your inbox other days too. They're unpredictable like that. They hope you read it, enjoy it, tweet it, share it -- and tell your mom ;)

— Thomas Oppong

Wabi-Sabi: A Perfectly Imperfect Life

#Philosophy #Culture #LifeRules
Wabi-Sabi is a Japanese philosophy that centers around embracing imperfections, while still making the most of life. “It gently motions you to relax, slow down, step back from the hectic modern world and find enjoyment and gratitude in everything you do,” writes Thomas Oppong. He covers the 7 principles, and dives into some of the practices to bring it to life. ::MEDIUM::
