For many St. Louis residents, purchasing their weekly groceries is a simple task.  However, in many neighborhoods, as much as 40 percent of residents don’t have regular access to a car, and a supermarket with a good supply of fresh, healthy and affordable foods is more than three miles away and may require multiple buses to get there and back home...   • Des Lee Creating Whole Communities Scholarships-  Des Lee Creating Whole Communities is investing in building the capacity of the region’s community development organizations by offering training scholarships to members of the Community Builders Network of Metro St. Louis (CBN). This investment allows CBN to cover 50% of the cost of training up to $3,000 per organization. 


  • Free Independent Foreclosure Review- Read how the Federal Reserve Board and The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency are working to remedy possible errors in foreclosure actions. For more information click here.

  • Trailnet Annual Livable St. Louis Conference- This conference, held on October 26th, 2012, will present information to organizations on how to create livable communities. For more detail about this conference, click here.

  • Affordable Green Neighborhoods Program Grant - This grant program is offered to affordable housing developers who are committed to building sustainable communities, with a $25,000 cash grant to pursue LEED-ND certification and much more.  For more information click here.
