Reclaiming Vacant Properties Conference
The Center for Community Progress will host this conference, September 9-11 in Philadelphia, PA.  The theme for this year's conference is Investing in the Future: Unlocking Hidden Value. Community Reinvestment Act 
The Federal Reserve Bank of St.Louis will host this audioconference on August 29 to discuss the role and importance of the CRA in motivating banks to invest in low-to-moderate income communities.  For more information click here.

The Center for Housing Policy and partners are holding this national conference on state and local housing policy September 16-18. For more information click here

Neighborhood Change in St. Louis 1970-2010
Todd Swanstrom, Des Lee Professor at UMSL, and Hank Webber, Executive Vice Chancellor at WUSTL, present on their analysis of neighborhood change in St. Louis at the Missouri History Museum October 10th at 7pm.

Neighborhood Leadership Academy
UMSL's Community Partnership Project is offering the Neighborhood Leadership Academy which runs from September 5th-November 21st.  The academy combines hands-on training with seminars, discussions and personal projects to create effective neighborhood leaders.   For more information click here.

UMSL's Nonprofit Management and Leadership Program offers Accounting for Non-Accountants on September 19th from 3-5pm. For more information click here.

Employee Termination for Nonprofits 
UMSL's Nonprofit Management and Leadership Program offers this training on October 24 from 3-5pm, discussing best practices and legal issues in employee termination. For more information click here.

HOME Investment Partnership Program Office Hours
RHCDA offers open office hours to community housing development organizations (CHDOs) trying to understand the new changes in regulations to HOME funds. Office hours are by RSVP on August 29th from 3-7pm. For more information click here

Community Development Academy
These 5 day courses offered by the University of Missouri Extension Community Development Program provide attendees a chance to practice skills important for engaging residents around a common future for community development to take place. For more information click here

2013 Marketplace Of Ideas Grant Competition
The Incarnate Word Foundation seeks applicants for the 2013 Marketplace of Ideas Grant who seek to improve North St.Louis City through collaborative and innovative efforts. For application guidelines click here and for the application click here.

Kresge Arts and Culture Grant
The Kresge Foundation seeks to fund organizations that plan to integrate arts and culture into community revitalizing efforts such as Transit Oriented Development and public green spaces.  For more information click here.
