Tower Grove Neighborhoods Community Development Corporation Exemplifies Benefits of Consolidation

A larger service area with increased capacity could leverage CDBG funding with other income sources to create a Community Development Corporation not for profit built for long term success. Over a six month period and through a series of meetings at the individual organization board level and as a combined group, three organizations worked together to complete the task. The result was the creation of Tower Grove Neighborhoods Community Development Corporation.

Gateway to Better Health receives $30M funding extension
The St. Louis Regional Health Commission has extended funding for health care services to around 20,000 individuals in the St. Louis area. African American Homeownership Increasingly Less Stable and more Risky
Amy Hodges, senior media relations specialist for Rice University's Office of Public Affairs reported on a study done by Rice University's Department of Sociology Department entitled, Emerging Forms of Racial Inequality in Homeownership Exit, 1968-2009,” which looks at the racial inequality in transition out of homeownership among African Americans in the last forty years.
