On April 18th, the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) met with the City of St. Louis Board of Alderman and announced that the City may no longer distribute federal funds by ward.  It must adopt a transparent city wide grant process open to everyone.... Land Lab Competition Sparks Innovation and Conversation in St. Louis
Washington University's Land Lab Competition has ignited conversations about creative ways to transform vacant lots into neighborhood revitalization tools.  Winners of the competition will have their ideas built on vacant lots in the Old North Neighborhood. For more information click here.

Americans Begin to Receive Foreclosure Settlement Checks
4.2 Million Americans to receive their portion of a billion dollar settlement reached between federal regulators and lenders, amounts ranging from $300 to $125,000.  For more information click here.

Foreclosure Mediation Bill One Step Closer to being Abolished
The Missouri State House passed a bill to abolish foreclosure mediation on April 4th.  The St. Louis mediation bill in jeopardy gives homeowners an opportunity to negotiate a sustainable payment option on their mortgage. For more information click here.
