The fifth episode of the ElevatED4SC vodcast series is out today, exploring the transformation of learning in South Carolina from the perspective of a student and a teacher. Regular contributors are joined by both Linda Funkhouser, a senior at Lexington High School and a part of River Bluff High School's Center for Law and Global Policy, and Veronica Thomas, a mathematics teacher and STEAM coordinator at Fairfield Central High School. We hear about the resources needed in every school district for teachers and students to thrive.
ElevatED4SC features success stories illustrating how education transformation is already happening in some South Carolina schools. Viewers and listeners can also learn about what other states are doing to meet similar challenges and find out what a whole child, cradle-to-career approach to education would look like.
The video and audio versions of Episode 4 are available at ElevatED4SC.com or on YouTube, iTunes and Spotify.
