Nuggets from last Sunday’s message Preacher: Pastor Longe Title: Thanking God like one who has just received mercy Bible reading: Exodus 4: 1-21
~Mercy is God not punishing you like your sin deserves (Romans 3:23, Lamentation 3:23)
~Grace is God blessing you despite the fact that you don’t deserve it.
~Mercy turns people’s life around, suddenly.
~In this month of God’s help, He will show us His mercy.
~When the Israelites saw the glorious works of God, they began to give Him praise, and they worshipped Him.
~In Psalm 89:1-2, David acknowledged the mercy of the Lord.
~No matter what we have, know or think, it is only the mercies of the Lord that keeps us alive.
~Every day of our life, we should thank God for His mercies, because without Him we can do nothing.
~Sometimes God allows us to go through somethings, so that we can glorify Him after He has performed His miracle.
~According to Jeremiah 29:11, God has a plan for you.
~Finally, are you going through any unpleasant situation now? If the answer is Yes, then begin or continue to look up to Him and thank Him for His mercies in Jesus Christ.
