Title: Issues faced by the Youths in our time
Panellists: Deacon Henry Ogunjobi, Sis Anita Dejan-Willis, Sis Bukky Owoade & Bro Obi Nwagbara

What do I do when people I interact with believe in evolution?
It is written in the bible, in the book of Genesis, that God created the world and everything in it.

For humans, God had created us to have a relationship with Him and for His pleasure.

If someone believes otherwise, you can only pray for faith for them.

Advise on Christian relationship:
In a Christian relationship, whatever you do that doesn't glorify God is too far (1 Corinthians 10:11). As a youth, spend time to pray to know what God wants for you.

With regards to what you should tell your intending spouse about your past, ensure you tell the truth but sometimes you might not need to go into too much detail.

Youths should know that good successful marriages are worked towards and doesn't just happen.

Advise on choosing a career:
In choosing a career, it is better to do what you enjoy doing, where your natural abilities lie.

There is a career that can suit you.

The way and character you do your work speaks for you as a Christian.

(Luke 13:15-16, Matthew 28:19-20, 1 Peter 3:16)

We can confess what we believe through our character and our life of excellence.

What are the challenges you'll face as a Christian youth?
Because we are human, sometimes it can be difficult for us to do what God wants us to do. But we can always ask Him for Grace to obey Him completely.

Why do we still feel guilty even after we've been forgiven?
We should believe we are forgiven and we just need to deal with self-condemnation. (Romans 8:1)

We can pray and also share how we feel with our Christian Mentor. (1 John 1:3)

What life advice would you give to a youth?
Seek a Mentor who will cover your spiritual life and/or career.

In whatever you are doing or decide to do, you need to have a close relationship with God.

Be quick to listen and slow to speak.
Please join us for our midweek bible study which holds every Weds from 7.00pm.

Not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another - and all the more as you see the Day approaching. Heb 10:2
