A life that honour's God

26 June 2016
Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for
honour, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work.
2Timothy2:21 NKJV

A life that does not honour God brings dishonour to God.

Honour comes from the heart of men.
(Ephesians 6:1-2, 1Samuel 2:30)

How do we dishonour God
1) In our everyday living. God is interested in the smallest details of our life.
(Proverbs 3:6)
2) When we take credit for what He has done. (Acts 12:22, Jeremiah 9:23)
3) Sometimes we act like it is all about us, when it is all JESUS! (John 14:6, Philippians 2:9-11)
4) When we don't evangelise. (Mark 16:15)
5) When we disobey God. (Roman 5:8, John 15:13, John 14:15)

Finally, to be a vessel unto honour, you have a part to play.
