We would like to thank all attendees, speakers, performers and volunteers for making Tuesday's Full STEAM Ahead networking event successful! We hope everyone had a wonderful time, and if you were not able to make it, below you will find a recap of what went on during the event. Stay tuned for upcoming events, and as always, please keep us posted with your STEAM activities, let us know how we can collaborate, and join us in conversation on social media!

We had more than 80 attendees. Many thanks to those who came!

Here are the Sandburg Elementary students again, posing for photos post-performance!

Tim Wolf, CEO of King-Chavez Neighborhood of Schools discussed the importance
of creating the right atmosphere in a school setting to incorporate STEAM.

Ivan Rosero reviewed his work with Green STEAM Communities, the impact of
an informal learning environment (after school) and a collaborative effort between
UCSD Extension and the San Diego Community Garden Network.

Brent Bushnell talked to us about his work building Two Bit Circus and the new
STEAM Carnival, which aims to "ambush education" and engage kids in
educational entertainment. Stay tuned for a site tour in LA soon!
