Healthy Living Collaborative starts work with South Kelso High School

Ophelia Noble with the Healthy Living Collaborative (pictured above, far left, along with [left to right] Heather O'Shea, Carlena McAllister, and Dana McKee) has started work with the Kelso High School drug and alcohol counselor and principal on a peer-to-peer marijuana prevention project. In early January, they will start looking for students who want to participate, who will then complete training to become teen Community Health Workers (CHWs).
In the meantime, the group of South Kelso adult CHWs is preparing by discussing activity ideas for the teen CHWs, researching available resources, and solidifying existing community connections.
