Welcome to the second monthly newsletter.
 

While the first newsletter covered 3 months of news, this newsletter and the subsequent editions will cover a month’s activity.  We had 4346 hits as at end of March [The first 80 days] and the month of April had 1501 hits taking the total no of hits 5847. The highest number of visits was on the 1st of April 2012 where we had 224 hits. This was soon after the first newsletter was published indicating many who received the newsletter had explored articles of interest to them.
 
This is designed to help you have sight of what had gone on during the month so that you can pick up on anything you might have missed. To facilitate this I will list relevant information with links that will help you to access them with ease. I would also like to hear from you any feedback you may have on the contents as well as anything new you might want me to do. I will do my best to respond.
 
Blog posts
2 blog posts were published during this month taking the total to 13 blogs. The two new blogs are listed below for your information.
 
  • The first blog post published on the 8th of April 2012 was titled Point of Light. This blog was to share my thoughts during Easter. It includes an inspiration experience I had during Easter mass in Dhaka as well as the video and Lyrics of the song ‘Point of Light’ by Randy Travis is included in the blog.   • The second blog post published on the 14th of April was titled Celebrate the Diversity and Re-Discover the Unity – This New Year.  This blog was written to highlight an important insight I had with regard to communications when realizing that many countries in South Asia and the Far East was celebrating the New Year during mid-April.  I believe that the message embedded can help unite teams and parties in conflict, helping to make the world a better place.   • The terrifying unknown void between the trapeze bars is where the real growth happens. We must savour that void and not rush through.

What’s in store for May 2012

  • I will replace my portrait photos with a new set of photos that was produced this month.
  • I intend publishing 1 or 2 more of the articles in the Marketing Mix up series,
  • I intend pupdating more photos of past events
  • I will continue to Tweet and Blog.
  • Most of my time will be focused on the main role I play now as the CEO of Rahimafrooz Superstores in Bangladesh where we are in the final stages of preparing for the migration to a new ERP system [SAP and WINCOR] and setting up a Distribution Centre.
  • There are many events happening in Sensei International around the world spearheaded by consultants assigned to each of the markets.
My website is built on the WordPress web tool and they introduced an interesting option on the 25th of February. A summary of the countries from which people visit my site is available and it is interesting the over the last 2 month people from 59 countries have visited my site. I am happy note that people from so many countries find it interesting and hopefully value adding visiting the site.  The lists of countries are given below:
