Old Braeswood POA eNews: 8/11/22

1) Summer Yard Maintenance  -- Despite our drought, grass is growing throughout the neighborhood. If you don't already have your lawn serviced weekly, please engage a crew to mow and edge regularly. Quite a few of our lots (vacant and occupied) are covered in tall weeds. Please keep your property looking good throughout the growing season and beyond.  It's a violation of city ordinance to allow grass and vegetation to grow in excess of 9 inches.

2)  Found Bengal Cat with bright orange collar - Please let us know if you are the owner of a bengal cat with a bright orange collar. The cat has been spending time in a hot garage in the 2300 block of Blue Bonnet and neighbors are concerned about the cat getting locked inside and becoming dehydrated.

3) Mail Theft Alert - A piece of mail was stolen from a home in the 2300 block of Maroneal by the woman in the image below. While we hope that this was an isolated incident, please be alert as mail theft, mail fraud, and check washing is becoming commonplace. Please call the SEAL dispatcher at 713-422-2770 if you see any suspicious activity in the neighborhood.  Better safe than sorry.
