Three Tips on Choosing the Right Sports Clubs
By: Kate Kloos

Parents often ask, “How can I be sure the program I’m enrolling my child in is a good one?”

It’s hard enough for parents to find a sport their child likes, let alone a sport club or organization they can trust. As a partner of over 74 sport organizations in British Columbia, viaSport has three tips to keep in mind.

#ThanksCoach Profile

Montana Molyneux, Head Coach & U16 Coach
Sun Peaks Alpine Racers
Montana has coached the Sun Peaks U14 and U16 racers since 2013. She is a strong advocate for her athletes, her coaching team and club membership, and is always looking for ways to support and improve the program at Sun Peaks Alpine Club.
Originally from Inglewood, Ontario, Montana began ski racing at a young age. She saw successes as a 6 time All-American athlete and went on to graduate with both a Bachelor of Human Kinetics and Masters of Kinesiology, in the Coaching Sciences and Physiology program, with an Alpine Ski Racing focus. She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, as well as a Registered Kinesiologist through the OKA.
Thank you for all you do for your athletes and for sport in our region, Montana!  You're building a great team up on the mountain and we are proud to support you in these efforts. Sun Peaks Alpine Racers are so fortunate to have you leading the organization as Head Coach!
Thank you to the Canucks Autism Network for coming to Kamloops and leading our coaches through the Supporting Individuals with Autism. Watch for upcoming Spring workshops.
