An inspiring morning at the TCC in Kamloops watching the next generation of Olympians in our region push their limits and BREAK RECORDS at the RBC Training Ground Regional Qualifier February 12th. Congratulations to RipTech Diving Club, divers Finn Storie (silver medals 1m & 3m springboard) and Sawyer Niedziejko (1m-4th; 3m-silver), for great performances at the recent Winter Provincial Diving Championships.

The Aboriginal Sport, Recreation & Physical Activity Partners Council (Partners Council) is pleased to present Team BC's Expression of Interest Application for the sport of Rifle Shooting. Team BC is currently recruiting athletes to compete in the sport of Rifle Shooting at the 2017 North American Indigenous Games, to be held in Toronto, Ontario from July 16 to July 23, 2017.


XPLORESPORTZ YOUTH INVADE THE KANE VALLEY

Twenty-two eager youngsters, between the ages of 7 and 14, had a wonderful time at the XploreSportZ snow camp, held on Feb. 24th at beautiful Kane Valley ski area 20 minutes south of Merritt. The weather conditions were idyllic, with gorgeous blue skies, plenty of sunshine and mild temperatures. Participants enjoyed a full day of cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, sledding and snow fort building to go along with a delicious lunch of hot dogs, veggies, fruit and hot chocolate.
