MISSION: Through investment and collaboration with community partners, the regional centres serve as resource hubs that educate, inspire and engage British Columbians to excel and be active for life.

The 20th Operation Red Nose campaign in Kamloops finished strong by providing 1241 safe rides home over 15 nights of service and raising over $31,000 in donations. Kamloops finished 1st in the province by providing the most rides out of the 12 host communities and 18th in Canada out of 100 host communities!

The success of the campaign would have not been possible without the support of the volunteers. We had 235 volunteers fill over to 550 volunteer positions over the 15 nights of service. These volunteers drove 23,408 kilometers to get clients and their vehicles home safely.

The donations raised from the campaign go to PacificSport Interior BC. All proceeds will go toward developing services and programs for amateur sport in the Kamloops region.  Operation Red Nose started in Kamloops in 1997 and PacificSport has given almost $295,000 in athlete travel support, $48,000 in coach travel support and a variety of equipment bought to help support athletes and their training.

Thank you Kamloops, this community continues to be a huge supporter of Operation Red Nose! Looking forward to the 2017 Operation Red Nose campaign and celebrating 21 years in Kamloops.
