Virtual Town Hall: County Re-Opening 


Please join the office Supervisor Sheila Kuehl and the Director of the Los Angeles County Department of Public HealthBarbara Ferrer for a virtual town hall on Saturday, May 16 at 11am. They will answer questions concerning the County re-opening.

This event will be livestreamed on Saturday, May 16 at 11am through Supervisor Kuehl‘s Facebook page. If you have a question, please post your questions starting at 10:45am. 
 

Simplified Guidance for Retail Establishments


On Wednesday, May 6, Mayor Eric Garcetti announced that curbside pickup for florists, toy stores, book stores, clothing stores, music stores, and sporting goods stores can begin Friday, May 8th.
 

The City of Los Angeles has issued the following preliminary guidance to assist retail businesses offering curbside and doorside pickup. Download the document here

New guidelines around face coverings are now effective as of April 15th. Those working around others and the public, and those visiting essential businesses are required to wear face coverings at all times. Blood Donations Needed


The UCLA Blood & Platelet Center is experiencing a critical blood shortage and urgently needs donations from all blood types, especially type O. Eligible donors are urged to donate.

The essential blood components available for patients is at an historic low! Help our patients by scheduling a lifesaving blood donation at the UCLA Blood & Platelet Center. Please spread the word and encourage your family, friends, coworkers, and neighbors to support this crucial need.
