The Westwood Village Improvement Association (WVIA) is accepting donations to purchase 500 lunches from Westwood Village restaurants at a discounted price. These lunches will be distributed to UCLA frontline workers over a five-day period.
This effort will not only feed our UCLA Health friends and neighbors who are fighting for our community, this effort will also support local restaurants struggling during this unprecedented public health crisis.
Many small business owners are having difficulty navigating the various opportunities for loans and grants. The WVIA sees the need to help our small businesses by establishing a program to match volunteers to business owners in need.
Are you a lawyer, financial professional, or another kind of expert in loans and legal documents looking to support your community?
Designed to assist small businesses impacted by COVID-19, this weekly virtual forum hosted by the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce and resiliency expert Dr. Lucy Jones features representatives from city and county with business resources and guidance and lenders specializing in small business lending for community development.
