Great news, we're back in October!

Firstly, we hope everyone is keeping well in these strange times. After a few rough months for street markets, we are glad to share good news: we're launching a new Make It Blue Start Up market and we are bringing back our Make It Blue Food and Craft Market. Read on!

Make It Blue in partnership with Big Local Works and UnLimited and Blue Bermondsey BID are launching a new Make It Blue Start Up, a new way to support new entrepreneurs who are looking to become market traders.

The market will run twice during October, November and December with three additional days for a Christmas market in December.


Traders Call Out


In addition to the launch of the new Make It Blue Start Up scheme, we will also be running Make It Blue Food and Craft regular market. if you are interested, send us an email to (subject: MIB Food and craft stall enquiry)

Cost of the stall: £20 (20% regular price of £25)
Trading hours: From 9am to 4.30pm (open to public from 10am to 4pm)
Market dates available:
  • Saturday, 10th October 2020
  • Saturday, 7th November 2020
  • Saturday, 5th December 2020
We can only offer a limited number of stalls so ensure you book early.

Traders must:
  • have their Public Liabilty Insurance up to 5 million
  • have carried out a risk assessment (we can help if you don't have one)
  • ensure to follow current health and safety regulations and products are made / produced according  to regulations.
  • Food producers must have all the documentation to allow them to sell food.

Upcycling, recyclable, paper bags; we want to do our part to fight climate change and we expect our traders to reflect that aim with us.

2021, a new market on the making!

We understand the difficult times in which we're living in but we also look forward to a future with new fixed gazebos, a new clock tower, new power supply, new green spaces and above all, a new feel for Market Place to make it shopping destination for years to come. We want Make It Blue Markets to be part of that future with your help!.
