Aiming to please the One who enlisted us. 2 Timothy 2:4

TRANSITIONS
We are living in many transitions. First, we moved out of our home into our friend Jerry's house (we are very grateful for the place to call home base until September). Second, Barrett, Jerry, Cortina, Paisley, and Soren are spending time in beautiful Washington State. Barrett's brother and family moved there about a year ago and we saw the opportunity for Barrett to visit between transitions! Barrett's last day at Hebron was July 5th and he finished his exams on July 6th. Our third transition starts on July 20th when we will start training in Colorado for 4 weeks. Carrie has since reunited with the family in CO. We will all miss Marissa while we are away!
PARTNERSHIPS
We have been so excited to partner with all of you as we prepare for life on Abaco. With Carrie's last day at Hebron being August 31st, both of us will start drawing a salary from CYN in September. If you have agreed to partner with us financially, please let us know when you will be starting your monthly giving. If you have already communicated that to us, thank you! Your partnership is a huge help for us as we plan for the future.

TIMING
As we press on toward Abaco, there are many things that will determine our timing for departure. In September, we will travel to Florida to live in Carrie's aunt's house (thanks Aunt Weeze!) in the same neighborhood as Carrie's parents. During this time, we will continue fundraising meetings while Barrett hopes to travel to Abaco for a couple of weeks, and we will work on finding a home. Then on October 15th, Barrett will go before the Presbytery for the final step in ordination. After this, Barrett, Carrie, Cortina, Paisley, and Soren will travel home to Abaco.

LOGISTICS to be praying for concerning our move in October:
1) That our visas will come in
2) That we will find a home
3) That it is very clear when we should
move the kids.

COVID-19 Update

Last night, Prime Minister Minnis closed down tourism from the United States effective this Wednesday. The borders are open to Europeans and Canadians, but most tourism comes from the US. Our teammate, Gabe, was planning on heading back to Nassau from North Carolina on Friday and is now in the process of re-evaluating short term plans. Hopefully, the US gets off the banned list soon so our team can get back and forth between the States and the Islands, but we trust God's timing.
