We need your help to complete our next two films.  "Cheyanne's Story" about a teen's experience of date violence is in the final editing stage.  Our next goal is to make DVD's and publicize our second film.  "Jessica's Story" will begin editing in the next few weeks.  Your contributions have made "Peggy's Story" happen and helped "Cheyanne's Story" in its filming and editing.

"Peggy's Story" shown at Phoenix Film Festival

Lynette and JoAnne attend Festival: "Peggy's Story," part of the short documentary program, was shown twice during the festival. A total of seven short documentaries made up the program.  They included diverse subjects from a Horse Dentist to a Kurdish couple living in Sweden.  Following the presentation, filmmakers in attendance answered questions from the audience.  Joining JoAnne and Lynette to answer questions was Christy O'Neil acting co-director of Esperanza Shelter in Santa Fe.  Christy knows Peggy well and handled any questions related to Peggy.

Lynette and JoAnne were very proud that "Peggy's Story" was well received and that there was strong interest in Healing Voice's work. They also valued the opportunity to meet other filmmakers and to attend so many outstanding films in the several days they attended the festival sponsored by Starz and Cox.
