10ft Deep —

Howdy! Wow, thank you all so much for the love and support with last week's first issue! Very grateful for your interest and kind words, and for pledging your inbox to this newsletter.

Almost a month ago now, I had the privilege of enrolling in my very first screenprinting class at the Iskra Print Collective. A few classes in, and I'm absolutely loving it! The processes and the techniques are incredibly addictive and meditative. Learning and printing in this space (pictured above) has been an encouraging new step for me this year towards becoming more playful in my relationship with graphic design. (Maybe some work will be shared here in the future.) Until then, here are some typeface tangibles and (love)letters, *in honor of Valentine's Day. ;) Enjoy!

NEW: Mortise
Not only did Signal Foundry give their site a fresh coat of paint, but they also released a new slab serif, Mortise. Generous x-heights, open counters, wide proportions, and monoline strokes make it readable and practical for everyday use.
A typeface made from the real handwriting of a person living with Parkinson's Disease. All proceeds go to finding a cure.

Buried Treasures

↳ News App
I wish I used this app more. For years, this has been my go-to place for quickly tuning in on what's going on in the world. The platform relies on trending Twitter hashtags to aggregate topics and discussions that people are actually talking about.
Look Busy
↳ Fake Calendar
Look Busy fills your work calendar with realistic-looking (but secretly fake) work events. Your co-workers won’t schedule conference calls and meetings, so you can get actual work done. Those who know me, probably think I don't need this in my life, but you might!

Deeper Dive

Good Good Good
Yes, good news still exists in the world, and founder Branden Harvey is here to celebrate those helpers in the world. Check it out and subscribe this year!
