10ft Deep —

A lot has happened since this newsletter last went out.

A few weeks ago I was sick and joked about this whole covid-19 not seeming like a huge deal, but holy smokes how blind to the severity was I. I'm sure the last thing you want to be doing is reading another email, and I know everyone reading this is well versed in gathering content and probably feeling digitally drained.

By now I'm sure you've dredged through all the news articles, trending tweets, ways to help both the immune-compromised and the superhero-workers, and how to support the small businesses and financially-compromised neighbors we love. And also hope you're doing your darnest to act responsibly and love each other well during this time.

My wife and I have had waves of difficulty processing it all, and are definitely learning how to work in close-quarters while only in our 3rd month of marriage.

I'm realizing just how little I know about important things like this, but I do know the creative industry, and hope that my gifts and understandings can help that small corner of the world I'm apart of. I'm not here to claim to know any secret sauces for solutions to anything, but I do hope this newsletter encourages you to seek sound wisdom and step up in whichever corner of this pandemic you're finding yourself in.

Below are some of my findings, resources, insights, and networks that have been helping me. Call your friends and wash your hands. <3

Live Talk From
A series of live talks on Instagram with a focus on the creative industry. The idea is to fight quarantine, boredom and, most importantly, to instill hope. (Note that the launch times are in UK time, GMT).
Procreate Live
A lot of the creative industry is finding time during quarantine to brush-up on skills they've been putting off learning or developing. If you're like me and wish you used your iPad more, here are some free live events this week for bulking up your Procreate game!
Coronart
So in lesser news, Dribbble got a slightly newer look, which seems to promote the artist behind the shots a bit better. Sounds like a win to me. Have a gander at the new user interface while scrolling through and seeing what covid-19 looks like in the illustrated world.

Buried Treasures
