10ft Deep —

This past week I've been annoyingly sick with what the doctor called, "a good ole fashion New England winter virus". Luckily no coronavirus.

Maybe I'm just naive, but isn't the flu so much worse in terms of fatalities each year? Seems like the coronavirus is gaining fear-based traction because it's just the new kid on the block. But again, what do I know.

In light of our international awareness (due to such viral infections), here's a look at some really awesome design studios outside the US border.

Nother Studio
The studio of Montreal-based designer Simon Langlois, claiming to be just "another graphic design studio", in the sea of young designers leaving big agencies to start their own passion-led shop.
Hezin O
A graphic designer based in Seoul, South Korea. She has been running a graphic design studio OYE since 2014, working primarily in the cultural field on graphic design, illustration and publishing projects. A refreshing off-screen developed body of work.
Alexis Mark
The studio of Marie Grønkær, Kristoffer Li & Martin Bek, and an office for graphic design, creative direction and communication strategies located in Copenhagen. Additionally, Alexis Mark is the founder and organizer of the exhibition – and project space Annual Reportt.

Buried Treasures

Felix Gray
↳ Computer Glasses
From fear of feeling like a poser by wearing glasses when I really don't need them, I originally hesitated getting a pair of these. But since making the investment a few years ago, I don't go a day without wearing them, and my brain feels way less tired by the end of the day. 10/10 recommend. (I have the Nash frames in black).
The Brand Identity
↳ Design Mockups
Ahh, some beautiful design mockup templates you'll actually enjoy putting your work into. Sure, paying for mockups feels a bit like a torturous $0.99 for an app, but these seem so worth it.

Deeper Dive

Monster Children
A quarterly print mag by creative forward-thinkers who believe, above all, that fun is the most important thing in life. I was recently gifted the latest issue, and can't take my fingers off of it! Dive in, the website is pretty rad too.
