   INTERNATIONAL CHRISTIAN SCHOOL

The new International Christian School is off to a great first year. So many great testimonies of children that have turned a corner academically and emotionally. One parent shared that her two boys had been marginalized in their classes because they couldn't seem to keep up. The teacher consistantly asked things like, "Why can't you keep up?' , "What's wrong with you?" or "You'll never be able to do what the rest of the class is doing." Both boys have blossomed under the caring teachers of ICS. Christian familes are often viewed as "weird" and the children suffer from this stigma.
To date we have received nearly $16,000 toward the needed finances of  for this school year, leaving the current need at $30,000.  We have also increased our commitment on this end. Please pray with us about this need. We are seeing lives changed and the future impacted for Christ.

Thank you for your part in making this a reality!
A LOOK INTO OUR LIFE

Most people think that a missionaries time is spent exclusively in Evangelism, and in the early days, this is a pretty good observations. However, as time passes the work of the missionary evolves and re-evolves into many other areas. For example, our current ministry looks a little like this:
  • Our most recent church plant is in Brugge, Belgium and this takes quite a bit of our time. Evangelism, planning, praying, teaching, preaching, administration and etc.
  • Church planting in Africa: The work in both Congo and Ivory Coast continue to prosper. We help with planning, strategy, fund raising, training/mentoring, and conflict resolution.
  • The Bethesda Homes: The orphanage that we started in 2002 and been an amazing success story in this field. The President of The Global Orphan Project, our early sponsor, told us once that they didn't have any other orphanage as succssful as The Bethesda Home. Honored!
  • Bible Colleges: I still write curriculum for the Bible Colleges in Ivory Coast and Congo. In recent years I have also taught courses at Baptist Bible College Great Britian as well as in Ivory Coast.
  • Facitlitating services and resources among refugees.
