Dear Colleague,
My name is Kelly and I’m a Dementia Nurse Specialist here at the Hospital.
So many of us see in our day-to-day work how cruel dementia can be for those living with the illness as well as for their loved ones - stealing their memories and taking away their independence.

This is why we applied for £25,000 from the Aviva Community Fund, asking for their help to make our wards more dementia-friendly. Thousand of charities all over the UK apply for this funding and the public have a say through a voting process.

Voting opened on Friday and we have been overwhelmed with support from the public. We have already gained over 1,000 votes, making us one of the most popular projects.

We are in with a really good chance of winning this funding but we need your help. You have to register to vote, but you get 10 votes to use how you want.
